Support
Help for the current HushTempo prototype, which is not yet publicly released. Start with the answers below, or contact Sun Ryse Software LLC for support.
Email supportHow do I start and save a private session?
Tap Private session once to start the manual timer. Pause or end whenever you want. After ending, choose whether to answer the comfort and connection questions. You can skip either question, then save or discard the entry. A shared cue does not start or save your private session for you.
Can my Watch suggest activity without Start and End taps?
In Watch Settings, open Automatic activity, then Find possible activity. Read the explanation and choose Turn on detection if you want it, then allow Motion access when Apple asks. It is off by default. You do not need to start or stop each event inside a requested recording window.
The prototype looks for repeated motion and saves possible entries for review. Everyday activities can match, and some activity may be missed. It does not verify sexual activity, arousal, orgasm, or consent and does not start your manual timer or write to Apple Health.
What do Yes, No, and Not now do?
When completed proposals await an answer, Home shows Review activity. Open a proposal there or through Settings → Automatic activity. No notification is sent. Yes, save entry saves a journal record marked as confirmed by you and a local feedback example. No, something else saves a local example of other activity without a journal record. Not now leaves the proposal unanswered. Deleting a possible entry does not label it No.
Answers and motion summaries stay on the Watch. The detector does not learn from them yet. No raw motion or feedback is uploaded. If the journal saved but feedback did not, use the retry shown on that proposal; it will not create another journal entry.
Why are automatic suggestions missing or delayed?
Each system recording request lasts up to 12 hours. HushTempo renews when watchOS allows it to run, including when you reopen the app. Gaps, delayed processing, denied Motion access, unsupported recording, and repeated motion that does not match the current rule can all affect results.
Check Detection status, Recording requested until, and Last motion sample. A request deadline is not proof of continuous received data. No possible entry does not mean no activity occurred. Real-device coverage and detection accuracy have not been established for this prototype.
What happens when I turn automatic activity off?
Turning Find possible activity off stops HushTempo's analysis and renewal and deletes possible entries and local feedback after a successful save. Confirmed journal entries remain until you delete them separately. Deleting only possible entries keeps detection on and retains answered feedback.
An existing system recording may continue until its requested window ends. Apple may retain recorded motion for up to three days; HushTempo has no control to erase that system cache. Watch Delete local history also turns detection off and clears journal and automatic data. Check any save error before assuming deletion succeeded.
Can I hide the clock or change the appearance?
In Settings, turn off Show elapsed time to keep duration out of the session and journal display. You can choose System, Light, or Dark appearance on each device. These preferences are local to that device.
Why is my iPhone or iPad journal locked?
The journal viewing lock is enabled by default. Use your device's authentication prompt to unlock it. Depending on your device, Apple may offer Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. Canceling leaves the journal locked. The Watch relies on its passcode and Wrist Detection.
There is no HushTempo account or password-reset service. Keep your device passcode secure.
How do I send an entry from my Watch to my iPhone?
- Open HushTempo on your own paired iPhone. In Settings, enable Receive my Watch entries on this iPhone.
- Keep HushTempo open on both devices. On Watch, open Journal and select the saved entry.
- Choose Send to my iPhone and wait for the saved acknowledgment.
Receiving is off by default. Only the selected entry is sent, and resending the same entry does not create another copy on the phone. The devices retain separate copies; delete each copy separately. No heart-rate sample, raw motion, or feedback store is included.
If delivery is unavailable, check that the apps are open and the devices are paired and reachable. Keep the original Watch entry until the phone confirms saving. Avoid uninstalling the app as a troubleshooting step if you want to retain local entries.
How does Shared cue work?
One person creates a short-lived invitation on their iPhone and shares it with the intended nearby partner. The other person opens the invitation and joins. Both people explicitly mark themselves ready before the shared countdown. Either person can cancel.
Use the ordinary ready-and-countdown controls if optional Watch proximity is unavailable. Watch proximity requires compatible Watches and an active connection through each person's paired iPhone, with both Watch screens open. Distance cannot determine touch or consent.
Shared cue carries readiness and cue timing, plus optional temporary proximity messages. It never sends your journal or health readings to a partner. Keep invitation links private.
Why is no heart-rate reading shown?
On Watch, heart-rate access is optional and only requested when you choose it. HushTempo looks for an available sample from the last ten minutes and displays its timestamp. A reading may be absent or delayed, or Health access may be off. Timer, breathing, and journal features continue to work without it.
Manage access through Apple's Health and privacy settings. HushTempo does not continuously monitor heart rate, save it in the journal, write Health data, or create workouts. A pulse reading cannot tell you how intimacy felt or whether someone consented.
How do I control sound and breathing?
Sound personalities are off by default. Preview a spoken line before enabling a pack; use Mute voice during a session. The fixed lines are synthesized by your device and currently spoken in English. They never read your journal or health data aloud. There is no microphone recording.
For breathing, choose an easy or slower pattern and follow a comfortable pace. You do not need to match every cue. Breathe normally or stop if you feel uncomfortable or lightheaded.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual entries in Journal, or use the delete-all control in Settings. On Watch, Delete local history also turns automatic detection off and clears possible entries and feedback. Turning only automatic activity off keeps confirmed journal entries. Deletion cannot be undone in HushTempo. Delete any copy previously sent to your own other device separately.
The app excludes journal files from device backups. Device loss or uninstalling can erase your entries. Sun Ryse has no copy of your journal to restore and no remote account to delete. See the privacy policy for details.
What should I do if saving fails?
Keep the app open, review the error, and retry saving when possible. The prior saved state is retained after a failed write. If saving a paused or ended session fails, the stopped draft remains in memory while the app is open; closing the app can lose that unsaved draft.
