Your App Store license for HushTempo is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, with Sun Ryse Software LLC as the application provider. Read that agreement for the license scope, permitted use, termination, warranties, liability provisions, and applicable-law terms. We have not supplied a custom App Store EULA.
This page explains HushTempo's product conditions and limitations. It does not replace or amend the Standard EULA or Apple's purchase terms. If this page conflicts with the applicable license or mandatory law, those provisions govern. Nothing here removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Adults and voluntary participation
HushTempo is intended for adults at least 18 years old, or the higher age required where they live. The app asks for your declaration; it does not verify identity or age. Use it only for your own voluntary personal wellbeing and reflection.
A readiness tap, countdown, proximity signal, journal entry, or sensor reading never establishes another person's consent. Either person can stop participating at any time. Do not use the app to monitor someone secretly, pressure a partner, harass anyone, or create evidence that someone consented or engaged in sexual activity.
Wellbeing tools and their limits
HushTempo offers a manual timer, breathing guidance, a private reflection journal, and optional shared cues. It is not medical care, a diagnostic tool, an emergency service, or a substitute for a qualified professional. It does not promise to improve sexual performance, treat a condition, or produce a health or relationship outcome. The app's timers and optional reflections are not performance targets.
Use breathing cues at a comfortable pace. You do not need to match them or continue a session. Stop if the activity is uncomfortable. Do not rely on HushTempo to make medical, safety, or emergency decisions.
Experimental Watch suggestions
Optional automatic activity looks for repeated motion after you enable it. Everyday movement can trigger a suggestion. Suggestions can be inaccurate, delayed, duplicated, or absent; recording may have gaps. A suggestion does not verify sexual activity, arousal, orgasm, consent, or the start and end of a sexual session.
You decide whether to confirm a suggested entry. The app currently stores feedback locally and does not train or adapt a model from it. Real-device detection accuracy and continuous coverage have not been established for this version. Optional heart-rate and proximity information can also be unavailable or outdated.
Your devices and local records
Features depend on compatible Apple devices, operating systems, permissions, connectivity, and system scheduling. Watch features require a compatible Apple Watch. Optional Watch proximity also depends on supported hardware and an active paired-device connection. Background operation and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed.
Journal and automatic-activity records are kept locally and excluded from device backup. HushTempo does not provide a cloud journal or developer-operated recovery service. Uninstalling the app, losing a device, deleting records, or a device failure can cause data loss. A selected entry sent to your own paired iPhone becomes a separate copy; delete each device's copy separately. Review save and deletion errors before assuming an action succeeded.
Privacy and sharing
Sun Ryse does not receive your journal entries, motion samples, suggestions, feedback, or heart-rate readings through HushTempo. The app has no developer backend, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. This does not mean no information is processed: the app processes sensitive information on your devices and supports transfers and sharing you choose.
Our privacy policy explains these features, retention, deletion, optional permissions, and the separate handling of support emails, website requests, Apple services, and third-party sharing. Keep invitation links private. Do not send intimate records, Health screenshots, passwords, or invitation secrets to support.
Price, purchases, and refunds
HushTempo 1.0.0 is configured for a single upfront App Store purchase, with no recurring subscription or in-app purchases. The price, currency, and applicable taxes shown by Apple in your storefront at purchase apply. A purchase licenses the app under the applicable EULA; it is not a promise of every future feature, perpetual updates, or support for every future device.
Apple handles App Store billing. For a purchase issue or refund request, use Apple's refund process. Eligibility depends on Apple's process and applicable law. We do not impose an all-sales-final rule or remove statutory cancellation, refund, repair, or other consumer rights.
Support website and external services
This website provides product, privacy, and support information. It does not access your HushTempo journal. Its text and artwork belong to Sun Ryse or their respective owners; use of the app remains subject to the App Store license. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or use it unlawfully.
Optional research links, Apple's services, email providers, and services selected for sharing operate under their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not a guarantee of that service's accuracy or availability. Support availability and response times can vary.
Warranties, responsibility, and changes
The Standard EULA contains the applicable warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability, subject to its exceptions and mandatory law. This page does not create an additional liability cap or waive rights that the law protects. We do not guarantee that the app or website will be error-free, continuously available, or suitable for every individual circumstance.
We may update these product notices as features or practices change and will show the updated date. A website edit does not retroactively take away purchase rights, change the App Store license, or authorize new collection of sensitive data. Material privacy changes will be explained in the relevant app and privacy disclosures, with permission requested where required.
